Mosskiller

As the name suggests the primary goal of the mosskiller treatment is to kill the moss in your lawn. The active ingredient being iron sulphate. This will blacken the moss which will then require removal by scarification in extreme cases or a thourogh rake through with a lawn rake. Also in the mosskiller product is a nitrogen content which will green your lawn up. Primarily we use this product in the spring or early autumn.

Spring

Getting your lawn off to a good start begins in the spring. This treatment is designed to give a spring nitrogen boost to green up the blade colour. Containing both potash and phosphates this will encourage a strong and resilient sward.

Summer

With characteristics similar to the spring treatment it ensures good top growth for the growing season and replaces nutrients lost in grass clippings. With this no-scortch fertiliser we will generally apply mornings and late afternoons if the sun is out. Remebering that the fertiliser will require watering in if no rain has fallen for 2-3 days.

Autumn

Finally an autumn fertilser is applied to boost root strength and reduce moss growth over the winter period.
